Earlier this week I had the pleasure of photographing these gorgeous girls.
When I arrived at the girls' home in Chino Hills, Paige and Mikayla were both ready for a fun photo shoot. Together with the girls' mom, Holly, we looked at a few outfits and discussed our plan for the afternoon. They decided to switch off between pants and dresses at each wardrobe change. We coordinated the colors and styles so they would look well when photographed together.
Holly had some great ideas for locations, including this rustic backroad. While I love the serious look in portraits, I can't help smiling when I see these two sprinting and dancing together.
On to location number two: local park. At our second spot the girls relaxed and started showing much more of their personalities. I love seeing how sisters interact with each other. We had fun recounting our favorite foods and what the merits of Taco Bell. Now I'm super curious what the heck a "quesarito" is.
Our final setup of the afternoon was another outfit change and a super simple white background at the girls' house. We tried out a few different poses with each girl. The clean white background really allows for each girl to show a few different sides of who they are.
Thank you so much to Holly, Paige, and Mikayla for a great day. I hope you love these images as much as I do. I can't wait to see go up in your home.
